Fumigation Campaigns
THE SECRETARIAT OF HEALTH WILL BEGIN FUMIGATION CAMPAIGNS DUE TO THE AEDES AEGYPTIMOSQUITO
* The first of the two cycles arranged for this activity will begin on Tuesday September 17 at 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Due to the increase of the AedesAegypti mosquitopopulation, a vector that transmits diseases such as dengue, zika and chikungunya, the Secretariat of Health is informing the community that starting onSeptember 17, the fumigation campaign will begin with a vehicle mounted machine in the prioritized neighborhoods, taking into account the identified risk conditions.
The activity will be carried out on two fumigation cycles, taking into account the following dates:

It should be noted that the effectiveness of the fumigation will depend on the actions taken by the community. For this reason, the Secretariat of Health is informing the community to take into account thecovering of tanks, the dismantling, yards or gardens cleaningin order to eliminate possible breeding grounds and dispose of bottles, covers, tires and tanksthat are no longer in use.
The second fumigation cycle will begin immediately after the first one is completed.
